The great thing about Franklin Central is the CCR Fridays at the high school. There are also many opportunities, such as the C9 classes which allows Juniors and Seniors who are caught up with their credits to experience a certain work field. There are many teachers with various teaching strategies which is a great way for students to learn about their learning process. Overall a good school with a relatively large number of athletic opportunities, lacking in the club area due to an absence of sponsorship, but the general education received was pretty standard. That being said, the lack of support for teachers did disrupt the academic career of many students after covid. Exposure to different types of people in my experience makes for a more open-minded individual. That being said compared to other schools the diversity of socioeconomic class, ethnicities, and overall student body added to the overall culture of the school. There just wasn't much of an initiative to push students who weren't already on the honors track to pursue challenging courses or even extracurriculars.

For a school with a large body of students of color, the ratio of these students in challenging classes could have been better. Alum: Throughout my high school career, there was an apparent difference between the students in honors and ap classes and the students in college prep classes.
